Rego Pro: Bookmarks for places App Reviews

I travel extensively for both business and pleasure and have always wanted a way to remember where Ive been in my travels, and this little app is just what Ive been wanting to help me remember! Good bye to sticking pins on a map on the wall, hello Rego! Once the upcoming location search is added, my rating could go from 4 to 5 stars. It would also be great of your maps could be synced across several devices as well. This app is good now, and looking forward to it getting better.

The search feature makes Rego a great app. Its awesome for saving places you want to go when planning a trip!

I havent travelled with the app year, but I have been using it a lot to plan an upcoming trip. You can easily drop pins at sights, hotels etc by browsing to a location on the map. This is a great help when planning an itinerary. You can organize your pins into groups. You can tap one of your pins and set it as your base. Once you do this, you are shown distances to all your other pins. It will be a great resource while travelling as you can pin placed youve been to as well to help with georefrencing photos later, seeing the location of a hotel youre considering in relation to things you want to do and see, etc. There are only a couple reasons I havent given it 5 stars.I wish we could search places/addresses within the app itself (now you have to search it elsewhere to find where it is, then try to find the same place in Rego...a little time consuming). I realize (by the name (re-go) that my use of the app isnt exactly what they intended it to be which is why searching is not part of it. I also wish that there was an iPad version with the ability to sync pins across devices. I also realize that the majority of iPads dont have GPS, but with the larger screen on my Mini, I would like to use it, with the travel guide apps and ebooks I have purchased, during my trip and not have to pull out my phone to look at Rego.

I use this app extensively I travel a lot and this helps me to pin every places Ive been and even write notes on them I only ask one thing if they make a "iPad" version too

No other app does what Rego does: keep a log of your favourite places. Ive been using it like a fiend since it came out to keep track of my favourite restaurants, make lists of cafes I want to visit, and build a custom travel guide for visiting friends. Well worth the purchase. Now that it has collections sharing via email or airdrop, I can provide personalized travel guides to people who come visit me. This is a feature I’ve wanted for a long time and I’m so glad it’s here. I don’t have two iOS 7 devices kicking around so I haven’t tried the sync function yet, but I assume that it puts all your places into one collection (even if they’re in multiple collections on your device, e.g. both “cafes” and “inexpensive.”) If this is the case, it would be nice if Rego could support that kind of fine-grained organization, especially when you’re transferring huge collections of places. If it already supports this, please ignore that last comment! Another request: Rego will only share one ‘key photo’ per place in order to keep the file size down when sharing via email. However, it would be nice if you could choose to override this manually, or share all photos when using airdrop instead. My last request is for some advanced filtering features for ‘pro’ users (who have hundreds of places saved), especially when tracking places across multiple cities. If I select the "restaurants" category, I don’t really want the map to zoom out to show me all the restaurants in every city I’ve visited. I’m just interested in where I currently am. Oh, and an iPad version would be great.

This app was one of my most used previously, but with the new update its one of the best made apps on my phone now too. Great devs as well, really appreciate the work they keep putting in to constantly improve Rego.

Please add Google maps. Besause Apple maps are ugly, incorrect and havent enough details for my region.

An amazing app. Clean and stylish design. Easy to use. Effective. Migrated to Rego from Pin drop. Easily synchronized all my data. Works very good. Worth the money. Much better than any other app of this kind.

Does almost nothing more that you cannot do with Evernote or DayOne or similar. No iPad version ... Sorry but I think its useless

This app is a real gem. I use it every time I travel or visit places. Beside recording notable moments and places, it has proven invaluable to go back to places I visited in the past but could not locate on a map. Support is excellent too! Wholeheartedly recommended.

This app is seriously the best app to experience the world and document places.

I love this app. I use it to bookmark bar and restaurant recommendations so I can remember interesting places to try when in an unfamiliar area. I only wish that the pins could be colored so that I can label and organize spots that Ive already been. Otherwise, perfect.

Love this amazing app. Just got back from vacation and wish I had it then. Any chance for folders? I would love to be able to add a folder of pictures instead of several photos from one trip taking the whole page.

Please please remove the map view button from map put it in settings. Also give the option to change the red dot to different icons.... Then it will be a 5 star app..

I bought Rego at version 1.0. I had been wishing someone would make an app to easily keep track of places, like restaurants I want to try. Rego was exactly what I wanted, and it has worked perfectly. The new 2.0 adds nice features. Rego is a steal at twice the price.

V2 looks good and more useful. Hoping automated sync (vs manual) next.
